Founded in May 2013 and headquartered in Ada-George, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, EMOGAS operates across the upstream, midstream, and downstream value chain, with a strategic focus on the natural gas sector. Our Flagship Initiative
EMOGAS LNG Export Project
Emogas Limited is the promoter of a phased, 10.2 MTPA Geyser LNG project in Nigeria. This baseload export project will include a liquefaction plant, a marine export facility with associated infrastructure, and a few hundred-kilometer natural gas pipeline. However, screening and evaluation results also suggests that a floating LNG technology is equally feasible, and an option.
This LNG development and export project comes at a right time as the commercialization of produced gas for supply into local, regional and global (export) markets, is an increasingly high priority gas development strategy of some gas producing African countries like Nigeria. Nigeria’s vast gas resources, in particular, provide an enormous opportunity for increased local, regional and global LNG trade.
By contributing towards the building and operation of such an impressive LNG export terminal that would help increase Nigeria’s LNG export capacity, and global market share in LNG business, there is a real opportunity for Emogas, her consortium partners and other stakeholders, to see to the domestication of sufficient volumes of this gas through creation of new local and regional markets for this environmentally-friendly resource.
